So today the New York Post ran the above editorial cartoon, which seems to clearly equate America’s first African-American president with a monkey. I’ve often considered the Post one step removed from the National Enquirer, so I’m not shocked by the picture. But I am shocked by the decision making. I get wanting to be bold and dramatic and blah … blah … blah. But, really, were the editors that blind? Was the cartoonist that lost?

Reminds me very much of this—an obscure Public Enemy song that is worth downloading.
