I am not a particularly smart man …

… but I know what love is.

And I also know that the people in the above video are dolts. And the people in this video. And this video. And this video. And this video. And this video.

I occasionally use words inappropriately. But not this time. Dolts. Definition: a dull, stupid person; blockhead.

I feel quite confident in saying that an intelligent human being; one with an IQ over, oh, 95, who reads some sort of newspaper or magazine and gets his/her news from a source other than talk radio cannot rationally believe that Sarah Palin is qualified for the job of president. The argument simply cannot be made. It couldn’t be made before she quit her job as governor, and it certainly can’t be made now.

If Republicans want to support Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee or even George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, I will argue until I’m blue in the face—but I’ll willingly acknowledge that they are qualified to hold the position. But Palin—simply unqualified. And, worst of all, frightening.

The frenzy and intensity of her movement reminds me of some sort of cult. Sarah Palin isn’t loved because of her positions. She’s loved … because she’s loved. Say what you want about Obama Fever of 2008. but at least the man could properly state his positions; didn’t make things up about his biography, could name a newspaper he read.

I look at the people in these videos, and I can’t believe we share a country. I have absolutely nothing in common with them. Nothing. They scare me. Frighten me. We live in different worlds, and I don’t care how arrogant or snide that sounds.

Oy.
