Politicians tend to say, “We Americans have more commonalities than we do differences.” I try and believe thisâ€”but I don’t.
The above video is from two days agoâ€”the 9/11 Never Forget Coalition Terror Trials Protest at Foley Square in New York City. I truly hurt for the people here who lost loved ones on 9/11. I can’t fully imagine that pain, but I do understand the anger.
That anger, however, is not good enough reason to throw out our decency; our sense of justice. The way you win over the world is not by acting like the terrorists. It’s by providing fair and open justice for all.
