I would love to see the Jets in a Super Bowl, but Saints-Colts is an awfully good matchup. The storyline for media sorts is pretty obvious, if not a wee-bit superficial: Peyton faces the team his dad played for; the team he rooted for as a boy; the team of Wes Chandler and Chuck Muncie and Sam Mills … and, uh, yeah.
PS: By the way, if you want to truly hate the NFL, read this piece on the sad life of Jerry Eckwood from today’s New York Times. Heartbreaking doesn’t begin to describe what ex-NFLers are going through.
