The viral Tweet

screen-shot-2016-10-30-at-9-43-50-am

This is my daughter on the right, and her pal on the left.

My daughter is being raised Jewish.

Her pal is being raised Muslim.

For Halloween, they recently decided to be the Juslims. This was not a political statement or a social statement or a stance on the presidential election. They weren’t doing it in the name of religious pride or America’s diversity or equality for all.

Nope, they decided to be the Juslims simply because it was funny.

And, as the above Tweet seems to gain more and more re-tweets and likes by the minute (23,000. 36,000), I hope the point isn’t lost. My daughter and her pal are, simply, friends. They talk about music and clothes and scary movies and boys and school. They are two people who moved to Southern California in the same month two years ago, and they share a bond. That’s it. That’s all. No deep religious debates. No conflicts over prayer or the meaning behind ancient texts.

Hell, the same goes for me and the wife and the parents of my daughter’s friend. We’ve formed a similar bond, also over geography and interests and having children of the same age. Not only is there no mistrust or conflict over religion—there’s not even the hint of mistrust or conflict. We’re all just people, trying to work our way through this world.

Despite what we’ve been hearing late in the national dialogue, there need not be this division based upon skin color, based upon place of birth, based upon … trivial bullshit.

We’re all just people.

We’re all Juslims.

  1. My Life As An Imposter

Well, that was wonderful and uplifting! My husband and I call ourselves Mooish / Muish. It’s reassuring to see more people moving beyond racial and religious differences, especially children. This gives me hope for the future. What fantastic girls they are xxx

  2. The problem, quite honestly, is their lack of religiosity. If they were older and had any depth to their conversations, any conviction to their beliefs, the muslim would surely not want to accept the jew as the infidel she believes she is. The jew wouldnt want to be friends with someone who believes that she needs to convert to islam, or be killed. Lets be honest now, because that is what islam believes, as sad and sadistic as that is.

    1. I think the problem is that we have people like you on this planet that think religion means you have to hate someone else. My grandparents are racist because they believe black people are not equal to a superior white race. I think they’re fucking idiots. You’re my grandparents.

      1. I think the problem is people like you who shame with complete disregard for the facts. The FACT is that part of being a good muslim is believing in Sharia Law. Sharia Law includes many racist tenets including convert or subjugate yourself to additional taxes/restrictions, etc. That is FACT.
Its great to live in la la land and project that others think like you do. FACT is, they don’t. Do I like that religious Muslims think this way? Of course not. But denying the FACTS, gets you nowhere.

      2. I know lots of Muslims, went to school with them, were on same sports teams as them. While their parents were old school the children were not. You’re not getting the point, my point is progressiveness eventually changes things from the unacceptable to acceptable. And you keep saying the word FACT, where are your FACTS? They’re just opinions, that’s sad that you don’t know the difference. And to go back to your original post, what is wrong with lack of “religiosity”? That’s a problem? You must have a really sad life, I feel sorry for you.

      3. Teddy: My facts are based on the very definition of the word fact. Look up sharia law if you do not understand it. If you can’t tell the difference between FACT and fiction, that truly is your problem. For you to state that my fact is opinion is weak. You need to prove it. I can back up all of my facts with multiple sources. Can you show me where something I stated as fact is just an opinion?

And did I ever say that their lack of religiosity is a problem? To the contrary, I implied the opposite. Their lack of religiosity is what made this beautiful moment shared in the post. I wish RELIGIOUS muslims progressed to the point that they no longer believed in Sharia Law, but unfortunately we are a LONG way from that being the case.

You are free to continue insulting me, as I take no offense whatsoever and it only further demonstrates the weakness of your case. I just hope that you have the ability to see the difference between fact and fiction in the future.

      4. “Part of being good Muslim is to believe in Sharia law”. That is not a fact but actually ignorance. Its like saying part of Christianity is white supremacy. As Teddy said its the same ignorance early generations had or you still have. Also i acknowledge that some Muslims think the same as you that Sharia law makes them a good Muslim but some christian also believe in white supremacy and that does not make it a FACT! You saying that Islamic believes are sad and sadistic is an ignorant point of view.

      5. Umair: White supremacy is not a tenet of Christianity by any means. Show me where in the bible it says that white people are supreme. To the contrary, SHARIA IS THE CORE TENET OF ISLAM! Its basis is THE QURAN!

      6. Sharia law is not a core anything of Islam. It’s as much a core tenet as you are Kobe! Sharia is a set of laws made by men as they interpreted Islam. E.g. US Constitution as written had built in slavery in it. Anyways, you are deflecting from the actual Post. It’s a beautiful post and using that to vent your frustration is ridiculous. Every group of people have a dark underbelly and using that to project hate for billions of people and there religion based on “facts from fox news” is also ridiculous. Your name should be “Real Donny Trump” or something ?

    2. I’m a Muslim and I’m religious. I don’t believe (and no other Muslim I know believes) in “convert or die”. That’s something that crazy fanatics like Al-Qaeda and ISIS came up with for their own despicable political gains. Yes, murderous groups existed before ISIS and Al-Qaeda – in every country, race, and religion. The KKK (mostly Protestant Christian) did the same thing – terrorizing anyone who wasn’t like them, in this case, not being white was a good enough reason to kill someone. We can’t judge a religion or people by an extremist group.

      1. Hi Arif, I appreciate your opinion and your progressiveness. I wish more religious Muslims felt like you do. However, to state that we cant judge islam by extremist groups is whitewashing the problem. Far too many Muslims around the world (and by all indications a MAJORITY of Muslims in the world) are not as progressive as you, and believe Sharia should be the basis of the laws they live by and adhere to. Sharia does include many racist tenets. I am sure you are familiar with them. I stated just the basics above, but there are plenty more. If you deny this, I can bring you sources to outline this below, but the casual reader is free to use google to verify my claims.

  3. When I was a little kid I wrote letters to the Chicago Bears office in care of Walter Payton that was how you asked for an autograph picture of Walter Payton and he sent me autograph pictures I’ll never forget being 9 yearsold in 1984 and 10 yearsold in 1985 and opening the envelope and having pictures signed by Walter Payton through someone my father knew I got a Football in 1984 signed by the whole 1984-85 Chicago Bears team this was the year before they won the Superbowl. While it wasn’t the Superbowl team it had Walter Payton’s autograph on it.I got to meet Walter Payton Two times in my life onetime in 1989 there was a charitable event at Wrigley Field it was to raise money for the Chicago Cubs Baseball teams cancer charity but since the Chicago Bears Football team had won the Superbowl in the 1985-86 season in 1989 after he had retired from the Bears Walter Payton was one of the celebrities who was invited to the event.I was now 14 back in 1986 when I was 10 going on 11 I was at a shopping mall in suburban Chicago I was told that a mint condition Walter Payton autograph Football card sold for hundred of dollars but because this Walter Payton rookie card in the store had 50 wrinkles on it it was only $5.This man had opened a Sports Card shop where you could negotiate the prices up and down in a mall along with regular stores where prices were set.He said to me a 10 yearold , “This is a version of the Walter Payton autograph card you can afford.” Because it was the 1980’s kids were for the Firsttime buying and selling cards and autographs and making money off of it I said to my friend, “I am such a big Walter Payton fan I’ll never want to resell it for money anyway so it doesn’t matter that with the wrinkles it is worthless.” So I paid $5 for it now Three years later it was 1989 and I had a chance to have Walter Payton himself sign the Football card for me
Walter signed the card and Walter had brought pictures of himself with him he signed one of the pictures of himself also. When I asked Walter since he was retired and the Bears were having a Quarterback controversy “Who do you think should be the Quarterback McMahon or Tomczak?”.Walter who was on the Bears board of Directors and was hoping to be the First African-American owner of an expansion team in St.Louis slipped the question by saying to me “Well they both have good qualities.” Jarrett then began to jump up and down and shout “Me me I want to be the Quarterback.” Since I was a 14 yearold kid who had unintentionally asked a question that had Walter not slipped it so well could have caused him a political problem Walter came up after signing the autographs for me after signing the Football card and the picture for me with the idea of asking Jarrett to tie his shoes starting a conversation with Jarrett is a polite way after giving me the autographs to make sure I don’t unintentionally ask another question that puts him on the spot so he nicely asked Jarrett to tie his shoes and I thanked Walter for the autographs and with a Walter Payton autographed Football card and a Walter Payton autographed picture in my hands I freed up a hand and shook hands with Walter Payton and I then with a Walter Payton autographed Football card and a Walter Payton autographed picture in my hands walked away.I still have the Walter Payton autographed Football card and the Walter Payton autographed picture today what I needed backthen was for someone to say to me, “The fact Walter Payton signed the autographs and shook your hand means he liked you.Because he’s on the board of Directors of the Chicago Bears and he’s trying to buy a team in St.Louis he didn’t want to have to say which Quarterback he feels is best.So the way he signed the autographs and asked his son to tie his shoe.It was a nice way of giving you what you wanted without him getting asked any future difficult questions. He expects people not to know there maybe something going on with him where he can’t comment on everything that is going on he gave you those autographs because he liked you.”
In his book Jeff Pearlman and I felt it was unfair took things that actually were examples of how Walter Payton is a nice guy and put a negative spin on them. For example Walter said to a friend of his a White Jewish guy Ron Atlas that he Walter Payton wanted Ron Atlas to be the Godfather of his son Jarrett this is proof that Walter Payton was both a Christian and tolerant of people of other faiths.Walter Payton wanted a White Jewish man to be the Godfather of his son.Ron Atlas didn’t know as a Jewish man how to get his Godson baptized.Eventually Ron Atlas decided since he was the unexpected Godfather of an African-American kid to call Jesse Jackson Sr.’s Operation Push this was back in 1980 and explain he was the White Jewish Godfather of Walter Payton’s son and he wanted to know how to get an African-American baby baptized and Jesse Jackson Sr. is of course a Reverend and he thought Jesse Jackson Sr. would know what to do.While this is an example of how Walter Payton was a guy who was friends with people of all different religions and ethnic backgrounds.Jeff Pearlman writes it in a way where he tries to say that Walter Payton because he allegedly didn’t change diapers himself was not the type of involved Dad Jeff Pearlman thinks people should be.Since Jeff Pearlman can’t try and put down Walter Payton without admitting that Walter Payton did something nice and inclusive by having a White Jewish guy be his sons Godfather it’s obvious Pearlman is hung up on things that are ridicoulous. From there and this amazed me Jeff Pearlman admits that Walter Payton’s son Jarrett got into a fight at school.A guy slapped a girl.Because slapping a girl is wrong Jarrett punched the guy or at least that’s what Walter Payton believed happened.Jarrett was suspended from school.Connie Payton Walter’s wife wanted Walter to talk to his son about the fact that Jarrett had been suspended. While the boy may have unfortunately been injured,Walter believed that this boy had slapped a girl and his son was defending an abused girl.So Walter said there was something he was going to give Jarrett. Then Walter of course because he was fair took $300 out of his wallet a $300 present is what Walter gave Jarrett. Why?Walter decided that if a girl was slapped and his son because it’s wrong to hit girls punched the jerk who did it.His son shouldn’tve been suspended his son was defending an abused girl.Isn’t it morally right to defend an abused girl?
So Walter Payton told his son he was proud he stuck up for a girl and to enjoy the $300.Weather this guy really abused a girl or not Walter thought this guy was a jerk who slapped a girl. And because you had this craziness in the schools in the 1980’s and 1990’s where some kid was bullied and they didn’t do anything about it and then someone punches the bully and they actually suspend the kid who’s defending the mistreated kid,Walter figured if his son was really sticking up for an abused girl, then he wasn’t angry at his son.If by some chance Walter didn’t know what was going on,this is proof that Walter Payton tried to be an understanding father.Jeff Pearlman then said that Jarrett had gotten drunk and Walter said to him since he wanted to drink that while he was having a hangover to drink some more and Jarrett said he didn’t want to drink and Walter after pouring him a drink at the bar in the basement said to him that there is plenty of time later in life to drink.Which would mean that Walter didn’t do that thing that strict parents used to do where if a 13 yearold is caught drinking liquor you make them drink all day since they won’t enjoy it and it’s a punishment.Walter poured Jarrett a glass of liquor and said to him you want to drink keep drinking and since Jarrett was a 13 yearold who already had a hangover Jarrett said he didn’t want to drink and Walter said good.If most kids had a dad who understood when they got suspended from school and gave them money, who after saying something really did understand when they got drunk and while he was a Christian himself was accepting of different groups of people and wanted his White Jewish friend to be his sons Godson. They wouldn’t know, care,or remember weather there dad was the one who picked them up when they were an infant or not.Since the dictionary definition of a good father is someone who kids like and get along with.Walter Payton was a good father. Not picking the kid up when he is an infant is something that might annoy the wife if she always has to do it but that’s not the same as how you get along with your kids.Because of the religious Christians in the Republican party who want Christians and Jews to be more religious and because of the feminists in the Democratic Party who want the fathers to also pick up the infant kids, not because the kid cares who picks him up,but because it means the wife can focus on her career.Because of these cultural things going on right now,Jeff Pearlman tries to say Walter who was understanding when his son got suspended from school somehow was doing something wrong by not picking the kid up.And Jeff Pearlman implies that Walter Payton despite being a Christian wasn’t Christian enough, doesn’t he get any credit Jeff for wanting a White Jewish guy to be the kids Godfather? So Jeff Pearlman can’t write a biography without being obsessed with these cultural things then Jeff Pearlman says that Jesse Jackson Sr. was paid $500 for baptizing Walter’s son and according to Pearlman Ron Atlas was asked where the envelope was he said that Jesse had already gotten $500 the price of admission Jesse had gotten enough.
Jesse Jackson Sr. during the 1970’s and 1980’s was notorious for trying to get himself photographed with as many famous African-Americans as possible.Jesse Jackson Sr. would later on in the 1990’s walk into the Bulls lockerroom to get photographed with Michael Jordan.Michael figured there was no harm in letting another lockerroom visitor take a picture with him.So despite critics who say Michael Jordan wouldn’t endorse political candidates there were pictures Michael Jordan took with Jesse Jackson Sr. Which Jesse felt were better then a public endorsement. And Michael Jordan after coming out of retirement in 1995 without publicly endorsing any candidates played in a charity Basketball game that raised money for Operation Push. And Michael Jordan during the mid 1990’s had an event at his restaurant that then President Bill Clinton attended and Michael Jordan gave money to Democratic candidates for Congress and Michael Jordan once he was retired from Basketball endorsed Democrat Bill Bradley over Al Gore in the 2000 Democratic primaries so in his own way Michael Jordan did get involved in politics.
But eventually Phil Jackson who unlike most NBA coaches was a Liberal Democrat who endorsed candidates for public office and spoke out on political issues felt that Jesse Jackson Sr. was doing things in the lockerroom he didn’t like and Phil Jackson asked Jesse Jackson Sr. to stop coming into the Bulls lockerroom and trying to get free publicity.I didn’t know all the details but since people all over Chicago used to say that Jesse Jackson Sr. wasn’t really friends with Martin Luther King Jr. who knows what was going on?
Since these photos with famous African-Americans is what Jesse Jackson Sr. wanted.Walter Payton just gave Jesse Jackson Sr. a front page photo that read in every newspaper in Chicago “Jesse Jackson Sr. baptizes Walter Payton’s son.” So Jesse had gotten what he wanted plus $500 .Jeff Pearlman then said that Walter Payton was addicted to pain killers and there were a bunch of drugs that Walter Payton took. Also Joe Weinbender who has posted videos all over YouTube alleged that Walter Payton took steroids. That Walter Payton was using HGH.Joe Weinbender also alleges that in Chicago the Chicago Bears Football players get the steroids from the Mafia. And since a man who in 13 years only missed one Football game.A man who was as physically strong as Walter Payton all of a sudden at 45 years of age getting live cancer and unfortunately dying is very suspicious. If Walter Payton’s death had to do with steroids and the Chicago Mafia supplied those steroids. That means a couple things back in the 1970’s and 1980’s what Walter Payton took may not have been against league rules Lyle Alzado used steroids and admitted that steroids caused his tragic death.if whatever Walter Payton took wasn’t against league rules then the great Walter Payton fair and square broke Jim Brown’s record.
Since the Illinois Secretary of States Office has been running an organ donation program ever since Walter Payton said he needed a new liver. It is onething for politicians not to care what the Mafia does because this is Chicago and this is the real world. But if this Organ donation program is an attempt to in anyway cover up anything that was done to Walter Payton then a whole state government is an accessory to corruption that killed someone. And it makes all the Illinois state local government officials fellow criminals.Joe Weinbender’s allegations that Walter Payton used steroids that Walter Payton lived in the Chicago suburb of Barrington,Illinois to be near Chicago mob boss Tony Accardo. All of this would explain what happened the Second time I met Walter Payton.
Walter had always taken pride in being one of the few major Sports stars who never charged money during the 1980’s for an autograph.Rosemont,Illinois is a Mafia run suburb of Chicago they were having an autograph show where Sports stars would sign autographs but there was a fee you had to pay for each athlete’s autograph. My cousin came up with the idea we should go to the show and even if I didn’t pay a Sports star for an autograph I could look at and maybe buy the Sports cards that were being sold. The last person on earth I expected to be charging for autographs was Walter Payton but he was there.Because I so liked the heroic Walter Payton who never charged for autographs like other Sports stars I approached Walter and asked him for an autograph. At the moment I approached him the promoter of the show was handing Walter a check for having signed autographs and there were some large Men standing there.Walter was the only Black man standing there.Had Walter right as the promoter was giving him a check for signing autographs for a fee, given me a free autograph,it would have been a disaster so when I approached Walter and asked him for an autograph Walter didn’t say a word I then walked over to an area where I was still near Walter.I began to scream, “Come on Walter why won’t you sign an autograph.Come on Walter why won’t you sign an autograph?”.The big guy walked over and stood in front of me I continued shouting.
The big guy never touched me he just stood in front of me.At that point I figured something out.Because Walter was for free speech I could scream “Come on Walter why won’t you sign an autograph?” loud enough for everyone in that building in Rosemont to hear as manytimes as I wanted and the big guy standing in front of me would not touch me.Walter didn’t want anyone to stop me from screaming what I felt. The only thing I couldn’t do was walk back over to where Walter was standing since at the moment the promoter was handing Walter the check so I continued screaming, “Walter come on why won’t you sign an autograph?”.Since other celebrities would have had their security or bodyguard touch someone who kept screaming at them the fact I stood there for the next couple minutes again and again screaming “Come on Walter why won’t you sign an autograph for me?”.And all that man did is stand in front of me some people would say was better then what most famous people would do from there the promoter handed Walter a check and the moment Walter began walking towards an area where there was an open door that if you looked at it you could see a parking lot and a limo in the parking lot waiting the moment Walter was walking away while I continued screaming “Come on Walter why won’t you sign an autograph?”.The big man standing in front of me now that Walter was leaving walked away also.No one had touched me.I had some funny emotions.I was angry but I also remembered how Walter Payton had sent me autographs in the mail when I was a kid and Walter had been nice to me back when I was 14 and met him.So I liked Walter still because I sensed maybe something else was going on.
When I talked to Joe Weinbender and he went on about how Walter Payton got his steroids from the Mafia and Rosemont is a Mafia town.Eventhough Weinbender said,”The way Walter was when he didn’t sign that autograph for you that’s how he really is.” I put One and one together and since Walter had sent me a ton of autographs for free in the mail and when I met him the First time he signed autographs for me.I figured out that if Rosemont is a Mafia town and Walter who never charged for autographs or went to autograph shows all of a sudden was being paid by them to charge for autographs and he gave me a free autograph in front of them a bunch of things could have happened to him I then realized Walter had tried his best with me.I had felt bad when Walter passed away and I now began to have the same feelings I had about Walter when I was a kid.Until Walter passed away I would’ve said had anyone explained to me Rosemont was a Mafia town ,”Yeah but he’s Walter Payton they couldn’t really do anything to him he’s Walter Payton. He really couldn’t’ve signed an autograph for free just because Rosemont is a Mafia town I mean he’s a 1985 Bear he owns the state of Illinois.” Now that I’m older I realize that there is no way at a moment when they were giving him a check for having just signed autographs at a show in Rosemont,Illinois that Walter Payton in front of those guys could’ve given me a free autograph.
I went back to liking Walter Payton and I became angry at my father I was 19 when this happened and when I told my father what happened all he had to do was say Rosemont Chicago the whole state of Illinois is full of terrible corrupt people but Walter Payton tried his best to be nice to you and I would’ve been thrilled Walter Payton the star tried to be nice to me! I wouldn’t’ve cared that Rosemont,Illinois is run by crooks.Instead my dad in order to try and not have me know how bad Rosemont can be lied and said a bunch of things about why Walter didn’t sign the autograph if you trick me into thinking Rosemont is a normal town and Walter Payton had a bunch of things going on with him, you’ll just upset me.If you tell me there are towns in Illinois full of terrible crooked people but Walter tried his best for you as long as you know Walter did his best for you your not going to care that a bunch of towns have crooks in them Weinbender unintentionally let me realize yeah Walter tried his best for me.
I have pasted into this post an excerpt from a Chicago Tribune July 28,1991 article about how Eric Kumerow who at the time was on the Chicago Bears Football team was the actual Grandson of Chicago Mafia boss Tony Accardo. This would be like a real biological Grandson of John Gotti backwhen Gotti was alive being the Defensive Tackle for the NewYork Giants.Pasted into this post is an excerpt from a Chicago Tribune article that admits that Eric Kumerow who was on the Chicago Bears team at that time was the Grandson of Chicago mafia boss Tony Accardo. The fact that Chicago Mafia boss Tony Accardo’s Grandson was playing for the Bears in 1991 means it makes sense to ask weather any current players on any of the Chicago sports teams are the relatives of Chicago Mafia members a friend of mine knew someone who was in a restaurant and Mario Rizzo was there and when this guy left the restaurant the way they sometimes set it up there were people standing on the sidewalk and some of these people asked this guy, “Do you think the Mafia murdered Michael Jordan’s father?”.This guy replied that the Mafia kills people who owe money Michael Jordan is a rich man so if Michael Jordan’s father owed gambling debts he’s sure Michael Jordan would’ve paid. From there the guy told these people he coincidentally went to a bank in Willowbrook,Illinois. And before he arrived the bank had been robbed and he was planning on making a deposit but once he was told the F.B.I. would be arriving in 20 minutes since bank robberies are a Federal offense he decided to go to a different bank so he never talked to any law enforcement people about the fact a bank robbery he knew nothing about had happened before he arrived at the bank by the time he arrived at the bank the bank robber had left. While Mario Rizzo himself didn’t ask this guy these questions coincidentally after walking out of a restaurant that Mario Rizzo was in people approached him and asked him these questions so since Eric Kumerow who played for the Chicago Bears is the biological Grandson Chicago mob boss Tony Accardo it makes sense to ask if Chicago Cubs First Baseman Anthony Rizzo is related to Mario Rizzo or anyother organized crime figures and weather any form of corruption involving organized crime had anything to do with Walter Payton’s tragic death and weather organized crime the mafia had anything to do with the murder of Michael Jordan’s father underneath what I have typed is the excerpt from that 1991 Chicago Tribune article proving that Eric Kumerow is Chicago Mafia boss Tony Accardo’s Grandson

    Kumerow`s Back At Starting Line
He`s Getting A 2nd Chance To Bust Out After Being A Bust
    July 28, 1991|By Paul Sullivan.

Kumerow`s grandfather is reputed former mob boss Tony Accardo, who is in semiretirement and serving as a counselor to underworld figures, according to local crime syndicate experts.
Eric Kumerow`s high school years were the stuff of a teenage boy`s dreams. He was one of the most written-about athletes in the Chicago area in the last two decades. A three-sport star, he was all-everything when he played football at Oak Park in the early 1980s. He was the team`s quarterback, safety, kicker and punter during his junior and seniors years and a consensus All-State pick on offense as a senior.
That was the excerpt from the article about how Eric Kumerow who played for the Chicago Bears is the Grandson of Chicago Mafia boss Tony Accardo if Tony Accardo before he died in 1992 could get his Grandson onto the Chicago Football team then it makes sense to ask if the Chicago Baseball team the Chicago Cubs Baseball teams First Baseman Anthony Rizzo is related to Mario Rizzo and also did the Chicago Mafia before there was free agency in NFL Football besides getting steroids for Chicago Bears Football players in anyway do anything to keep the salaries of the Pro Football players down? There was an allegation by former Chicago Bears Quarterback Jim McMahon Walter Payton’s teammate and friend that the Chicago Bears Football team got enough good players to make the playoffs and sell tickets but not so many good players that they would win more then one Superbowl every 30 years because before there was free agency in NFL Football when you did your best to be honorable and win it meant the players since they were repeat champions could ask for a raise

Since the Bears were set up to only win a Championship once every 30 years on January 26,1986 they won the Superbowl also backthen there were only 28 NFL Teams so revenue was split 28 ways equally so if for example a 49ers jersey was sold at a mall in California for $20 1/28th of the money would go to the Chicago Bears or 1/28th of what the merchant paid for the jersey before reselling it in the store so with 1/28th of all NFL jerseys not just Bears jerseys with 1/28th of all the money TV networks paid the league if you could get the Football salaries down it was a lot of money that could be made but you couldn’t have a terrible team or else no one would buy tickets if you have Walter Payton the best running back ever but you don’t sign a very good Widereceiver chances are you’ll make the playoffs but lose since you didn’t win the Superbowl player salaries won’t go up but because you made the playoffs people will still buy Season tickets. And since you have to have some good players once every 30 years they’ll win the Superbowl and because if they only win Once salaries won’t go up you let them enjoy their one Championship season the Bears won the Superbowl on January 26,1986

Did Michael McCaskey the owner of the team who took over after his Grandfather George Halas died in 1983 did Michael McCaskey use Tony Accardo to keep salaries down? While Tony Accardo died in 1992 Mario Rizzo is alive and if Tony Accardo got his Grandson onto the Football team maybe Chicago Mafia boss Mario Rizzo is related to the Baseball teams the Chicago Cubs First Baseman Anthony Rizzo

While Tony Accardo died in 1992 Mario Rizzo is alive and if Tony Accardo got his Grandson onto the Football team maybe Chicago Mafia boss Mario Rizzo is related to the Baseball teams the Chicago Cubs First Baseman Anthony Rizzo it is a question people should ask
