I love talking, and I love listening, and I love talking and listening to fellow journalists. That’s really the genesis of Two Writers Slinging Yang, my weekly chat with a fellow scribe. I make no money for this show. I have a sponsor who occasionally sends my kids T-shirts and and jerseys. Honestly, Two Writers Slinging Yang is pure passion project; a chance for me to sit back in my closet (amazing acoustics) and learn from folks I admire.

 

Oh—the name. I’m always asked about the name. The great Lauryn Hill has a song where she mentions “popping yang like you got yen.” I turned “popping” into “slinging” and decided “slinging yang means talking shit. So, sue me.
