Some would argue it’s in bad spirit to boo at something like this. I disagree. Sarah Palin is as destructive a political force as we’ve had in this country since … since … since—I’m not even sure. Her comments have been racist and xenophobic, and I’d feel no reason to applaud merely because her “star” daughter is on some dance program.
