Was walking through Times Square a few moment ago, returning from an interview with Jerry Stackhouse of the Brooklyn Nets.
Minding my own business, thinking of a snack. I spot a strange-looking man with tattoos covering his face and shaved head. He’s handing out flyers for the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. I take a step to my left. He says, “Hey, I know you …”
Uh …
“You’re an author.”
Uh …
“You’re an author, right?”
Yeah, I am.
“You’re the John Rocker guy. Right? I’ve seen you on TV.”
That’s me.

I’m not sure the point of this. It’s my first time being recognized in 2013, and certainly my first time ever being recognized by such a heavily tattooed man.
Wacky.
