So I have a book coming out on Roger Clemens. It’s called, “The Rocket That Fell to Earth,” and is scheduled for release on March 24.
Two days ago, via mail, I received my first copy of the actual book. Of all the things that happen within the, oh, three weeks of a release, that’s my favorite singular moment: You’ve worked your tail off, missed vacations, stayed up until 3 … 4 … 5 in the morning, and finally, here’s the actual fruit of your labor. A real book.
Maybe it’s corny, but I dig it.
