So for the past few weeks I’ve been going to see a podiatrist in Yonkers. He’s a nice old man, and he seems to know whereof he speaks when it comes to feet.
Yet his office is a pig’s hole.
Seriously, seriously gross. The ceilings are water damaged, with brown splotches here and there. The floor is grimy and sticky. There are magazines everywhere—average publication date: 2006. It’s just a gross place, and I never much enjoy removing my shoes and touching the somewhat tacky (in texture, not design) floor.
Was talking to my wife about this earlier today. Again, I like the doctor. And I think he’s solid in medical implementation. Her take: “I wouldn’t go again. It matters what it looks like, because it reflects on who he is, and how he views his business.”
