Today’s column …

… is on the death of my local bookstore.

It’s an odd thing. Five years ago I would have never imagined feeling glum over a Borders or B&N shutting down. Nowadays, however, it symbolizes a shifting tide. Technologically. Culturally.

  1. Good memory of the Zander Hollander books. I still have all of the NBA, NFL & MLB books in my closet.

I am 46 and still hold onto those silly old antiques!

    Overall great column.

I guess I’ll have to buy an e-reader some day, but I too love books.

    Thanks Jeff.
