Today’s Sweet Spot was a spur-of-the-moment entry—why loud talkers kill my groove in coffee shops. Really, they do. You’re sitting there, trying to write and focus and concentrate. And “Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!” You know who I especially love? Those people who hold a cell phone conversation with the person on the other end on speaker. Because, really, hearing one person screaming isn’t enough. I need two.
Alas, what can I do? In coffee shops, people are allowed to scream. Hell, it’s probably encouraged.
But I hate it.
