Sometimes things just enter my head that make no sense.
Two nights ago, while writing this piece about former Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill, the words, “Soleil Moon Frye harvests a potato” bounded into my cranium. For those who don’t know, Soleil Moon Frye is the actress who, three decades back, starred as Punky Brewster on TV. Why would she harvest potatoes? I’m not sure. Hell, do people actually harvest potatoes? “Harvest” doesn’t seem like quite the right word.
Hmm …
I digress. The Cauldron is a new sports website that’s trying to break through. It’s worth your time; seems to be a place with potential and room for aspiring sports scribes.
