According to multiple reports, Donald Trump is prepared to name Mike Huckabee as the U.S. ambassador to Israel. I believe two things need to be said here:
• 1. Mike Huckabee is a man who believes gays are damned to hell.
• 2. Mike Huckabee is a man who believes Jews are damned to hell.
I’m not making either one up, but let’s focus on the second. In his special genre of Christianity, Huckabee believes (knows, actually) that the gateway to the afterlife involves an acknowledgment and embracing of Jesus Christ as lord and savior. Those who reject this teaching … who turn away from Jesus, will have to deal with a dark afterlife in Satan’s fire pit.
If you think I’m exaggerating, do a quick Google search on Huckabee. It’s all there.
Meaning Mike Huckabee, best known for crazy Fox News spewings, will serve as the ambassador to a people who he considers to be sinners.
