I take back yesterday’s post, because tonight I’m losing my mind.

If you walked into a bookstore right now, there’s an, oh, 80% chance you wouldn’t find a copy. Not because they’re flying off the shelves, but because—for some reason—they’re not reaching the shelves at all. Stores left and right are telling me they never got copies. I. Am. Losing. My. Mind. Don’t know what to do; how to resolve this. All I know is people are surely trying to buy the damn book—and can’t. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap. Just fired off an angry letter to my editor (a good guy), but that can’t put books in the stores two, three days ago. I am sooooo depressed. Odds of making the NYT best-seller’s list right now: Oh, 2%.

Damn. It hurts. I’m very down.

  1. hate to hear about the trouble Jeff, but I did see your book in two different locations in my area (Fairfax, VA). I’ve read some excerpts and I definitely think that the fans will exhibit patience until this problem gets resolved. I’m sure they agree with me that as long as they get their hands on this book soon, they won’t be frustrated about this.
