Lupica

I don’t know Lupica, just thought this was hilarious …

  1. Tool indeed.

    Lupica is a homer masquerading as a sports reporter. His knowledge of sports seems very limited and he displays it often. Check out his blather on the death of a truly great man (something Lupica will never be), John Wooden.

    “He was more a star in the 35 years after he coached his last game than he was sitting on the bench while UCLA was winning 10 NCAA titles in 12 years and becoming the Yankees of college basketball.”

    “And teams have won two in a row. Nobody had ever won 10 in 12 years. Nobody ever will. The old man didn’t just retire with the trophy. He took it with him Friday night.”

    True to his homer status, he compares the great UCLA teams with Wooden to the Yankees. Then he claims no one ever won 10 and 12 years. The Yankees never did, so why compare UCLA to the Yankees? Because Lupica is a dunce.

    Another BASKETBALL team won 11 championships in 13 years – the Boston Celtics. Earth to Lupica, hello! He calls himself a sports reporter. Laughable.

    [The Yankees did win 10 in 16 years from 1949 to 1962 including 5 in a row and 6 in 7 years from 47-53. But they also lost in the series three times in that period and two more times in a row in 63 and 64. UCLA NEVER lost in the NCAA finals under Wooden.}

  2. This guy is an idiot of the top level. Not only is his sports reporting 3rd rate. His political views are so far left field liberal extremist he probably wishes Hugo Chavez was our president. What a loser.
