So here’s my favorite news story of the day/week/month/year.
Earlier today our marvelous president stood before the media with a folded piece of paper in his right hand. He said that it was the details of a secret immigration deal with Mexico. What he was trying to say was, “I know you don’t believe I have a secret deal with Mexico. But here’s the secret deal with Mexico. It’s in my hand. Right here. A secret deal. Top secret. So secret.”
He held it up.
Then Jabin Botsford, the Washington Post photographer, snapped some photos of it. Those photos reveal much of the content of the note. And, like everything Donald Trump does, it’s bullshit.

But, more to the point, what sort of moron takes a document and flashes it before the press? What sort of moron doesn’t realize the paper he’s holding aloft is, eh, paper. And people can oftentimes see through it?
For a good three years now, Donald Trump has taken great delight in calling everyone a moron, a dummy, a fool, a buffoon. It’s what he does, and I’m begging the Democrats to throw it back his way.
